Today begins the third annual National News Literacy Week, and the News Literacy Project has partnered with the E.W. Scripps Company and Saatchi & Saatchi to highlight the urgent need for news literacy education and help people become better informed and more responsible with the information they share. A new campaign, “Stop the flood of misinformation … care before you share,” features a video PSA, graphics, and other tools.
