The de Beaumont Foundation’s website, which was relaunched in May, has been named this year’s best website in PR Daily’s 2019 Nonprofit PR Awards. The Foundation was also awarded an honorable mention for its rebranding campaign, which coincided with the web launch. Read the summary, “A Much-Needed Relaunch Breathes New Life into de Beaumont Foundation’s Website.”

PR Daily’s Nonprofit PR Awards celebrate the teams, organizations, and agencies who have redefined the field with their groundbreaking work. The de Beaumont Foundation joins an elite group of past winners, including the National Education Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the World Wildlife Fund. The website, debeaumont.org, introduced new messaging and branding for the Foundation. The site has simple navigation, improved functionality, a modern design, and resources for people interested in health, policy, and the public health profession. Site traffic has quadrupled since it was launched.

“The de Beaumont Foundation set itself apart from an outstanding field of applicants,” said Brendan Gannon, Marketing Manager for Awards Programs at Ragan Communications. “Their work was exceptional and displayed their innovative strategies for achieving success. We look forward to seeing de Beaumont’s continued innovation and success.”

Mark Miller, Vice President of Communications at the de Beaumont Foundation, who led the website project, said, “This was a team effort that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our leadership, staff, and board, as well as our partners, including Creative Science, Mission Partners, and Michael Paolantonio Design. As an organization, de Beaumont is innovative, resourceful, and accessible — and now we have a website that reflects that. We hope people who care about public health will find value in our ideas and tools.”

The award was announced via social media on Nov. 6, and the winning team will also be recognized for the accomplishment in a special write-up on Ragan Communications’ internationally read news website.
