I will never stop advocating for the importance of lived experience being at the table and driving change for systems at all levels.
Three words to describe me:
determined, honest, courageous
The best part of my job:
Being able to bring all parts of myself to the work, including my lived experience navigating systems as a disabled person. In other roles, I have had to be very clear about what "hat" I was wearing, but I finally feel like I am in a place that honors my lived experience, my public health experience, and my policy knowledge. It's a good feeling to finally be able to be "me" in all that I do.
Something that would surprise others about me:
I am a huge reality TV fan: I love all of the Bravo franchises, and my dog is named after a Real Housewife of New York.
