Maya Najjar joined the de Beaumont Foundation as a Research Assistant in 2023. In this role, Maya works in close collaboration with the entire Research, Evaluation, and Learning team, helping to facilitate the foundation’s Public Health Workforce Interests and Needs Survey (PH WINS), as well as maintaining its data management systems.
Maya is a committed and innovative professional with a demonstrated history of propelling organizational operations to success. Prior to her research assistant position, she distinguished herself through a pivotal role as a dedicated research intern at the de Beaumont Foundation. In this capacity, she played an integral part in the orchestration and implementation of PH WINS.
As a research intern, Maya navigated the complexities of research and her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the organization’s overarching goals. Maya earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park.
