Leslye Dwight, MS, joined the de Beaumont Foundation as a Grants & Contracts Manager in May 2022. She is responsible for leading the grants management work across several program portfolios. In addition, she offers support to the managing of various components of the Foundation’s procurement activities and systems.
Throughout her career, she has provided administrative and operational oversight to programmatic initiatives that focus on health and human services and social justice matters in underrepresented communities. Â Prior to joining the Foundation, Leslye was the National Programs Manager for the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation where she led organizing efforts centered on voting rights, health equity and economic justice with affiliates across the nation.
From the implementation of cost savings initiatives at the Pew Charitable Trusts or the analytical and financial background she developed while working with Prince George’s County government, Leslye’s management experience cuts across numerous sectors.
Leslye holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Bowie State University and a Master of Science degree in Human Services Management from the McDaniel College.
