Elizabeth Gould

Program Officer

Elizabeth Gould, DrPH, MPH is a Program Officer at the de Beaumont Foundation. She manages a portfolio of public health programs, projects, and grants focusing on strengthening the nation’s public health workforce.

Prior to joining the de Beaumont Foundation, Dr. Gould was a Senior Evaluation Specialist for the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). In this role she served as the lead for the National Evaluation Team evaluating CDCโ€™s Public Health Infrastructure Grant. Before joining PHAB, Dr. Gould was the Senior Director of Research, Development, and Engagement at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO). Dr. Gouldโ€™s responsibilities included ASTHOโ€™s work in research, journal publications, public health workforce and training, internal and external evaluation, partner outreach, and member engagement.

Dr. Gould earned her masterโ€™s and doctoral degrees in public health from the University of Kentucky.
