Christine Kudrav James is the senior director of finance and operations at the de Beaumont Foundation, where she is responsible for managing the Foundation’s administrative operations and accounting, finance, and budgeting systems. She also plays a key role in driving infrastructure and business processes to improve efficiency and meet strategic objectives.
Previously, Christine worked as a philanthropic advisor at Geller & Company and a grants manager at The Wallace Foundation. In both roles, she facilitated the planning and implementation of burgeoning grant operations teams and provided guidance on a broad range of philanthropic issues, including private foundation best practice, donor-advised funds, political donations, personal charitable giving, tax and regulatory restrictions, governance matters, and strategic grantmaking.
Christine began her career in the nonprofit sector as a project coordinator at the Safe Horizon Domestic Violence Law Project and as a grant writer at The Cooper Union. Both experiences cultivated a deep appreciation and respect for the grantee partners she works with today.
Christine received a Masters of Public Administration from Baruch College and a bachelor’s in Hispanic studies from the College of William and Mary.
