Mr. O’Brien is the Chairman and CEO of Port Capital LLC, a global asset management firm, where he leads the investment and research initiatives for the firm’s investment strategies.

In addition to his work with the de Beaumont Foundation, Mr. O’Brien serves as a trustee at both the University of Chicago and Boston College. Brien also serves as a member of the Board of the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was previously Board Chair. Additionally, Brien is on the Board of the National Park Foundation.

Mr. O’Brien graduated with honors from Boston College with a BS in finance and theology.
