The best part of my job:
the opportunity to train and support employees in doing meaningful, impactful work that directly improves community health. I see public health staff as my constituents-- by investing in their growth and success, I'm helping strengthen the system that serves our communities.
Something that would surprise others about me:
I'm a garment sewist; I've made everything from tailored jackets to everyday jumpsuits. By making my own clothes I get to show up as my true self with confidence and comfort.
