The best part of my job:
One of the greatest joys in my work is getting into the field to discuss complex problems with people who are not always invited to the table—frontline staff who understand the daily realities of public health and human services, and community members directly served by our programs. Watching them engage, inform, and innovate reminds me that the most meaningful solutions emerge when we listen deeply and let those closest to the work and its impact exercise leadership.
Something that would surprise others about me:
I don't like to cook! Luckily my partner does, or else I would eat popcorn and yogurt for dinner most nights.
