The best part of my job:
The absolute best part of my job is getting to work hand-in-hand with the community and partners I love with absolutely all my heart! There’s nothing more fulfilling than teaming up with people who care deeply to spark real change and break down barriers to care. Every day, I get to help amplify voices that have too often been ignored and together, we’re creating a public health system that truly reflects and uplifts everyone it serves.
Something that would surprise others about me:
Something that might surprise people is that I grew up in Germany, so I actually started learning German before I even learned Spanish! I also studied film in college and still love creating short videos and visual content to make public health more accessible and engaging. I created an LLC, bought a house, and started my doctoral program all this year, so it really feels exciting/lucky/honored to live out these big milestones my ancestors/elders could only dream of.
