I know that the decisions that I make have a larger impact, and it is my duty to serve my people. I hope and plan to serve them well.
Three words to describe me:
devoted, innovative, resilient
The best part of my job:
building and maintaining relationships with community members, organizations, and my colleagues who represent the interconnected network that drives public health action
Something that would surprise others about me:
Global health was my first public health interest. I studied abroad in Nicaragua, Honduras, and Jamaica during undergrad and graduate schools all working on community health initiatives.
