I want to keep building systems that reflect care, not just compliance. My goal is to help shift the culture of public health from one that often reacts to crisis, to one that invests in people, prevention, and community power.

The best part of my job:
The best part of my job is the people—both the communities I get to serve and the teams I get to lead. Every day I’m inspired by the resilience of folks who face incredible challenges and still show up with hope, and by colleagues who bring heart and dedication to the work. Seeing someone get connected to care, achieve stability, or simply feel seen and affirmed reminds me why I do this. It’s those moments of impact, big or small, that mean the most.
Something that would surprise others about me:
Something that often surprises people about me is that, at my core, I’m actually a bit shy and reserved. At the same time, I genuinely love being out in the community, connecting with people, and showing up in as many spaces as I can. It’s a balance—I recharge in quieter moments, but I thrive when I’m everywhere building connections and sharing experiences.
